The University has a Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme with an aim to identify active researchers and to provide them with a platform to carry out research in frontier areas. It is a full-time programme, where the selected fellows work under a mentor for a minimum duration of one year. The tenure can be extended based on the progress of the candidate and the recommendations by the Research Progress Committee. The fellows get monthly fellowship and annual contingency grant.

Procedure of Admission
For admission to the doctoral and postdoctoral programmes, the University invites applications through advertisement in newspapers, social media and the University website.
The candidates have to apply in a format prescribed by the University and also have to submit necessary copies of certificates, biodata, list of publications, detailed research proposal, etc.
The research proposal should include the research project title, research objectives, project summary, expected outcomes of the proposed research, requirement of infrastructure/equipment/software, timeline, etc.
The candidate would make a presentation of the research proposal before the Selection Committee. Followed by the presentation, is a personal interview of the candidate.
The Selection Committee makes its recommendations based on the biodata, publications of the candidates, presentation by the candidate, the novelty of the research proposal and personal interview.
Duration of the Programme
The fellowship is purely a temporary assignment. In the first instance, it would be for one year.
The tenure can be extended based on the progress of the candidate and the recommendations by the Research Progress Committee. The maximum programme duration should not exceed three years.
